recent changes at DeKubber-Webb Show Horses!
In the summer of 2006 DeKubber-Webb Show Horses moved its training operations to Bennett Woodland Farms. Kerri DeKubber and Mark Webb are well known professional trainers and have been very successful in showing in the Pacific Northwest and Nationally with AQHA, APHA and Appaloosa horses.

In 2007 Pine and Colleen showed in Western Pleasure, Showmanship and Halter. Colleen and Pine qualified in Showmanship for the AQHA Select Worlds which were held in Amarillo, Texas during the summer of 2007. Colleen did very well by being in the top 15 out of 40 contestants in the class.
It is very rewarding seeing foals from BWF grow up and become champions in the show pen. In the future look for more BWF horses in the winner’s circle at AQHA and APHA events, such as Miss Sedona Pine (aka,“Sedona”), (Impulsions X Miss Arizona Pine) who is a 2004 double registered AQHA/APHA mare and was shown only once in 2006 at the Northwest Emerald Masters 2-Yr Old Western Pleasure Futurity, winning $3,000.00 for a fifth place finish. At the 2007 Canadian National Championships Kerri DeKubber showed in the Jr. Pleasure and Jr. Trail on this talented little mare and was the Jr. Trail Champion.
The Bennetts have a number of horses in training, which are for sale, including Miss Sedona Pine, (Impulsion X Miss Arizona Pine), and Listonic (aka,“Vino”), a sorrel stallion by Listo Pollito Lena X Peppynic Kist (x Reminic).
In the future we will show here the current pictures of the horses being shown and their results in the classes.
Steve Metcalf and Sky N Mister winning the Gold in Jr. Working Cow Horse at the 2004 AQHA World Championships in Oklahoma City.
Over the course of many years Ralph and Colleen have developed a great relationship with Steve and Carol Metcalf of Metcalf Quarter Horses in Pilot Point, Texas. The Metcalfs have shown successfully at the AQHA World level for many years and have achieved many World titles.
Sky N Mister (aka "Stinky") was purchased in partnership with the Metcalf's (Benmet, Inc.). This exciting young mare led the nation in the Jr. Cutting horse division for 2004. At the 2004 AQHA World show Steve Metcalf rode Sky N Mister in two events. During the week of competition they qualified for the finals in Jr. Cutting Horse and Jr. Working Cow Horse events. In the finals for the Jr. Cutting Horse event they placed 7. However on the last night of the Championships they shocked everyone by winning the Jr. Working Cow Horse event.
For a number of years Carol Metcalf did very well showing Colleen's prize mare Miss Arizona Pine (aka, "Pine"), an own daughter of the great Zippo Pine Bar, at the AQHA Congress and World level. Steve, who specializes in the Cutting, Working Cow and Reining Divisions, showed Ralph's favorite mare Peppynic Kist (Reminic x Peppys Sunkist) in 2000 and was an AQHA World show finalist.
Miss Arizona Pine’s get have also done very well, with Pines Royalty (Docs Outta Town x Miss Arizona Pine) a 2001 gelding who went to Metcalf's in 2002, and Carol showed him (aka, “Doc”) at the 2003 Paint World Show in 2yr. Western Pleasure and was 4th overall. The Bennetts then sold Pines Royalty. Carol took Pines Royalty back to the Paint Worlds in 2004 for his new owners and he was 3rd in the three-year Challenge event.

Another of Pine's get, Arizonas Invitation (Invitation Only x Miss Arizona Pine) followed in her half-brother’s footsteps; she too was able to be double registered with both AQHA and APHA. Teresa Sullivan-Allman of Sullivan Performance Horses rode Arizonas Invitation (aka, "Athena") to a 5th place finish at the 2004 Paint World show in 2-year old Western Pleasure event. At the 2004 Northwest Congress show Teresa and Athena won the 2-year old NSBA Open Western Pleasure Class. Teresa has done a great job with Athena, which the Bennetts sold to Roberta Cannon of Everett, Washington.

At the February 2007 Horse Show in Las Vegas, Nicole Myers riding "Athena" won the Western Pleasure Limited Class/Non-Pro, and they were 2nd in the Non-Pro Western Pleasure Class.
